Retrace your steps up Via dell’Aringo to explore the Palazzo Arcivescovile (Archbishop’s Palace), including the Museo Diocesano. The museum contains religious works and artifacts from the 13th to 18th centuries, including a 14th-century altarpiece by Maestro di Cesi, and a wooden crib by Domenico Beccafumi. Inside the palace courtyard is the 12th-century Chiesa di Sant’Eufemia, left, one of the most significant Romanesque works of art in Umbria.
